Testing of Ammonium nitrate fertilizers of high nitrogen content as per PFC 1 (C)(I)(a)(i-ii) (A) – product testing in accordance with module A1 – all stages of research are conducting in accredited laboratory
All testing stages are carried out in an accredited laboratory within the EU.

Testing of fertilizer products as specified in PFC 1 to 4 containing materials covered by one or more of the following CMCs:

CMC 1 (except inhibitors as specified in CMC 1 point 4), CMC 2, CMC 4, CMC 6, CMC 8, CMC 9, CMC 10, CMC 11, as per EU-type examination - Module B

Plant biostimulants as specified in PFC 6 EU-type examination - Module B

Testing of Fertilizing product blends as specified in PFC 7 examination (module B)

Safety Testing for Compliance with EC Regulation Assessment of compliance with EU Regulation and the UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods

  • Trough Test for determining the self-sustaining exothermic decomposition of fertilizers containing nitrates (Test Method 38.2.4 of Section 38 of the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria 2023). This method allows a conclusion to be drawn on whether the fertilizer belongs to UN Hazard Class 9.
  • Test for determining the burning time of oxidizing substances (fertilizers) relative to a reference mixture (Test O.1: test for Oxidizing Solids as per Section 34 of the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria 2023). Based on the test results, a conclusion is drawn on whether the fertilizer belongs to Division 5.1.
  • UN Gap Test – a method for determining detonation transfer across a gap and the fertilizer's sensitivity to detonation impact (UN Gap Test – Test Series 1 & 2 as per the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria). This method is applied together with two other UN methods to determine whether the fertilizer belongs to Hazard Class 1.
  • UN Koenen Test – a method for determining the fertilizer's sensitivity to intense heating under confined conditions (UN Koenen Test, Test Series 1 & 2 as per the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria 2023). This method is applied together with two other UN methods to determine whether the fertilizer belongs to Hazard Class 1.
  • Time/Pressure Test – a method for determining the explosive properties of a fertilizer by combustion under confined conditions (UN Time/Pressure Test, Test Series 1 & 2 as per the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria 2023). This method is applied together with two other UN methods to determine whether the fertilizer belongs to Hazard Class 1.
  • BAM Trauzl Test – a method for determining the explosive strength of a substance/fertilizer (Test F3, BAM Trauzl Test, as per the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria 2023). This method is used to determine the type of packaging required for the safe transport of the substance/fertilizer.
  • Test for determining the corrosive properties of a liquid substance and/or a solid substance that may become liquid during transport (Test C.1: test for determining the corrosive properties of liquids and solids that may become liquid during transport, as Dangerous Goods of Class 8, packing group III, as per the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria 2023). Based on the test results, a conclusion is drawn on whether the substance belongs to Class 8, packing group III.
